I have used this canoe a few times in Ski to Sea and it is fast enough to be in the Top 40 overall amongst ALL canoes in the race but is also eligable for the Rec. division. I will use it myself in the Open division this year if no one buys it first. The beauty of this Canoe is that the next week you could be using it to run the Yukon river with all your gear and its still light enough you won't kill your back carrying it.
Clipper Ultralight Custom Kevlar 18' Jensen Canoe.
Comes with EXPEDITION SPRAY SKIRT (cost $500+ taxes)to keep those big waves out.
Weighs 46 pounds- 6 pounds lighter then Clippers Regular Ultralight version of this canoe (currently 2945 +taxes at Clipper).
