| This year we have several bears below the ski area and a mama bear with two cubs. We also have one or two bears between the start of the road bike leg and Glacier. We have asked Fish and Wildlife experts to check it out for us on Sunday and the Sheriff's Office will have officers stationed near the locations where the bears have been sighted. We do not feel that the bears pose any danger to Ski to Sea racers unless they stop to stare and get run into from behind by another racer. Pete |
