Nope. They do not allow any racers to use music devices, as it is a safety issue. You can't hear other runners coming up behind you, or cars coming down, or for that matter, a bear growling from beside the road that might make you want to run faster!  There actually has been a bear along the course the last 2 years, but no problems!
They are updating the website today to make it easy to find that rule about ipods and other music devices. The rule will be listed on the Ski to Sea website under the Breaking News/ News Updates link on the front page:
